Dr John Prossor graduated from Leicester University UK in 1984. He holds a Masters degree with distinction in Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland and was subsequently invited to join the Faculty as a Senior Lecturer. His other educational roles include being an examiner for RACGP fellowship .
John has extensive experience of healthcare innovation, management and leadership roles over many years. His “outstanding contribution to medicine” was recognised in 2007 by the rare award of a Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners UK .
John is a Fellow of the Skin Cancer Institute Australia and holds both certificates of advanced dermoscopy and advanced skin cancer surgery from the Skin Cancer College Australia . John has extensive experience with complex closures, flaps and grafts in cosmetically sensitive areas. He is committed to outstanding personal care of his patients
